Summer's life

A Tiny Update In Bullet Points

Things that have happened:

  • I’ve moved! (Again.) I’m now living in Washington state.
  • I’ve gotten pretty sick with a yet-to-be-diagnosed chronic illness. Not fun.
  • I made a zine! I don’t feel confident enough to explain what a zine is myself, but this page from the local zine fest does a good job, I think. If I can figure out how to upload my zine to my website, and I get enough energy to do so, I’ll share it. It’s about how sewing has fit into my life over the years.
  • My retired second service dog, Murry, turned twelve! He’s a stately (sometimes grumpy) old man who turns young again every time we go for a walk. Luna is six now and still as bouncy as ever. The apartment we live in is surrounded by other apartments with dogs, all of whom are very barky. Luna and Murry, as a result, have gotten pretty barky, too. A doggy choir?

I can’t think of anything else right now, but it’s been so long since I posted here that I figured an update of some kind was long overdue. I hope that you (you in particular) are doing well and having a splendid day!
